Mayhem Mania 2017: Round 3
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking (even though it kind of is). Any match created must be possible in real life. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card. Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
We started by creating 8 matches for our card. You may also want to catch up on the changes made in Round 1 and Round 2. This past Tuesday night on Wrestling Mayhem Show 556 we saw another series of moves, and we ended with our first match to GRADUATE to the Mayhem Mania SUPERCARD! We’ll eventually GRADUATE 8 matches. Which one will be next?
Theis week’s players had the usual three options.
1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not curretly on the card.
Let’s survey the damage…
MAYHEM MANIA 2017: ROUND 2
MOVE 1 (@MadMike4883)
KILL BRAUN STROWMAN VS. JAMES ELLSWORTH AND CREATE THE SHIELD VS. THE NEW DAY
MOVE 2 (@Sorgatron)
SWAP HIDEO ITAMI FOR BARON CORBIN
MOVE 3 (@ROBBROWNPA78)
ADD TRIPLE H & STEPHANIE MCMAHON TO JOHN CENA & NIKKI BELLA VS. THE MIZ & MARYSE VS. RUSEV & LANA
MOVE 4 (@TheeRizz)
KILL JACK GALLAGHER VS. PETE DUNNE AND CREATE ERIC YOUNG & NIKKI CROSS VS. TYE DILLINGER & EMMALINA
MOVE 5 (IWC Super Indy Champion @ChrisLeRusso)
SWAP FINN BALOR FOR SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
With Round 3 in the books, we have our first match to survive 3 rounds without being changed in any way and GRADUATE to the Mayhem Mania SUPERCARD!
MAYHEM MANIA 2017 SUPERCARD!!!
BROCK LESNAR VS. KEVIN OWENS
(CREATED BY INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR @JAXONARGOS)
No matter what happens from here on out, this match is on the show. Congratulations to the match creator Jaxon Argos. He’ll be invited back next week to enjoy his reward. He’ll get to create a new match to fill the vacancy on our 8-match “undercard”. He’ll get to hand out a dose of punishment to one of our other players, and he’ll get to use an ELIMINATOR to DELETE any wrestler not currently being used from this year’s Mayhem Mania.
Here are the 2 matches that survived Round 3 without being altered.
AMERICAN ALPHA VS. THE KINGS OF WRESTLING VS. THE REVIVAL

Next week, 5 more players will make even more changes to our card. What do you think they should do? Which wrestling supercouple needs to be added to our ever-growing mixed tag team match? Is the Dillinger/Emmalina tag team brilliant or insane? Leave your comments below and thanks for support Mayhem Mania.
As a special treat for reading until the end of this article, here’s another episode of the hottest new show on the internet, “Talking Mayhem Mania”!
