Mayhem Mania 2017: Round 4
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking (even though it kind of is). Any match created must be possible in real life. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card. Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
We started by creating 8 matches for our card. You may also want to catch up on the changes made in Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3. This past Tuesday night on Wrestling Mayhem Show 558 we saw another series of moves. Also, for the first time, we got to see one of our players collect their reward for creating a match that survived 3 rounds without being altered and graduated to the Mayhem Mania SUPERCARD! No matter what happens from here on out, this match is set in stone.
MAYHEM MANIA 2017 SUPERCARD!!!
BROCK LESNAR VS. KEVIN OWENS
(CREATED BY INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR @JAXONARGOS)
IWC Rookie Of The Year Jaxon Argos was the man behind the match. He was back last Tuesday to receive his rewards.
First, Jaxon got to CREATE a new match: Undertaker vs. Finn Balor. Second, he got to DELETE a wrestler, eliminating him from being used in this year’s Mayhem Mania. Jaxon chose to DELETE Ryback. Finally, Jaxon got to hand out a dose of “punishment” to one of this week’s players. This week, the it was that the player must use a Canadian wrestler. Jaxon chose to give the “punishment” to his IWC rival Santana Diamonds.
That brings us to this week’s players. They had the usual three options.
1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not curretly on the card.
Here’s how things played out.
Mayhem Mania 2017: Round 4
Move 1 (@WifeOfTheShow)
KILL Bobby Roode vs. Baron Corbin and CREATE Jack Gallagher vs. Simon Gotch

Now, you may have noticed that several moves made during Round 4 didn’t even survive to see the end of the round. Under the “Alex Kahrs Rule”, we’re obligated to invited the 3 players who made those moves back next week to try again.
Which match do you think needs to be changed? Which wrestler desperately needs to get onto this card? Is a match between Jack Gallagher and Simon Gotch really worth all this trouble? We welcome your feedback in the comments section below.
Now, here’s another episode of the HOTTEST new show on the internet, Talking Mayhem Mania. You’ll want to watch until the very end for details on a contest that YOU can enter for a chance to hand out your own “punishment” to one of our players.
