Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 3
This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking. It’s more like reality booking. Any match created must have at least a chance of happening in this year’s WrestleMania. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card.
Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
Catch up with Mayhem Mania 2018: Week 1 – Week 2
It’s only Week 3 of Mayhem Mania 2018, but things are already getting messy. On Episode 607 of the Wrestling Mayhem Show, we saw seven – SEVEN! – players each make a single change to the card. They had three options.
1. SWAP a wrestler/tag team for one already on the card, or bring for a name not currently on the card.
2. ADD an unused wrestler/tag team to an existing match.
3. KILL a match AND CREATE an entirely new match with wrestlers not currently on the card.
Among the players in Week 3 was our first ever Viewer’s Choice submission.

Thanks in part to the fact that we had seven moves, we come out of Week 3 with two players who are eligible to return under the “Alex Kahrs Rule” due to their matches not surviving until the end of the round. Kyle Turner and @Bobbyfjtown will be invited back next week to make a new move.
With the Week 3 moves now in the books, here are the newly created matches that did survive the round.

We’ll definitely be doing more Viewer’s Choice moves during this year’s Mayhem Mania. All of you reading this are invited to keeping emailing your suggestions to [email protected]. Just remember to abide by the hallowed three options.
During Week 2 of Mayhem Mania, I introduced an envelope which contains my Mayhem Mania dream match! If anyone is able to guess what it is they will receive a bounty of spectacular prizes, unprecedented in the history of Mayhem Mania.
1) Graduate any match to the SUPER CARD
2) Hand out a dose of punishment to one of the players
3) One ELIMINATOR (which allows the player to eliminate any person not currently on the card from being used in Mayhem Mania 2018)
Now, here’s the latest edition of the HOTTEST show on the internet: TALKING Mayhem Mania! Special thanks to @ChadTheShad for guest hosting Week 3 of Mayhem Mania.
Thanks for being part of Mayhem Mania. Join us for next week’s episode entitled “ALL The Sanity” or “AARP Wants Its Dream Match Back”.
