Mayhem Mania 2020: Round 2

This. Is. Mayhem Mania!

This is the ultimate fantasy booking game. The goal is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – not necessarily to predict what WWE will do. That means we must play by the rules of our current reality. Everyone comes in their current (physical, emotional, psychological, etc.) state. Bottom line, if Vince McMahon can do it, we can do it.

We’re entering Round 2 of Mayhem Mania. So, we can finally say that Mayhem Mania is in full swing, right? Is it too soon? Who cares. I’m debating myself.

Last week, the first changes to our 8 match card were made. Now, we have another 5 players. Each of them get to make one change. That can be as simple as swapping out one match for another with entirely new personnel. Or, our players can get a little more creative and swap just one person or team out and into the existing matches. They can also add a person or team to an existing match. The only real limit is the imagination of our players.

Not every person is eligible to use in Mayhem Mania. Some of them are locked in SPACE JAIL as a result of one of our earlier players sending them through the FORBIDDEN PORTAL. Lucky for our inmates, they can escape! And wouldn’t you know it? For the second straight week, a spin of the wheel allowed an individual to escape from SPACE JAIL!

So, Bobby Fish is back in the game. I think the SPACE JAIL needs a new warden.

With all that drama over and done with, it’s time to get down to the main business at hand and see what changes our players want to make to our card.

As stipulated by the “Alex Kahrs Rule”, Dave Podnar gets an automatic invitation to play again next week. He’ll also get the last move in the round. All this because his move did not survive to the end of the round.

Remember, any match that survives three consecutive rounds without being altered in any way will be locked into our SUPERCARD and open up a new spot on our “undercard” for the creation of another match.
